Institutional User License Agreement

Institutions will gain access to ASCE Online Journals or Proceedings through registered Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Both Single-Site and Multi-Site License Agreements are available.

  • Single-Site License  (download and print)
For purposes of the Single-Site License, an “Authorized Site” is a localized site (one geographical location) that is under a single administration. For an organization with locations in more than one city, each city is considered to be a different site. For an organization that has multiple locations in the same city that are administered independently, each location is considered to be a different site. No access from remote campuses or remote sites and no consortia or other forms of subscription sharing are allowed under this License.

  • Multi-Site License  (download and print)
A Multi-Site License applies to organizations with locations in more than one city (each city is considered to be a different site), or organizations that have multiple locations in the same city that are administered independently (in which case, each location is considered to be a different site). Access from remote campuses or remote sites, and consortia or other forms of subscription sharing are allowed under this License. For a multi-site price quote, please contact Journals Marketing Manager.

For questions concerning Consortia Licensing arrangements, please contact Journals Marketing Manager.

Please read the following before submitting your license agreement:

  1. ASCE Account Number. You will need your current ASCE account number before registering. This account number is necessary when processing your online subscription, and must be written on the Institutional User License Agreement that is submitted to ASCE. Numerous changes in our accounting system require that you confirm your current account number through ASCE Customer Service, or call us at 1-800-548-2723, or 1-703-295-6300.

  2. Prepayment is Required. Your institution must have a prepaid “Online only” or “Print+Online” subscription to be granted access to ASCE Online Journals or Proceedings. For pricing information, please see Institution Subscriptions. If you already have paid for current year subscriptions, please complete the Institutional User Agreement below to register. Note: Multi-Site License arrangements require payment of a multi-site license fee. For Multi-Site license pricing, please contact Journals Marketing Manager.

  3. Institutional User License Submission. Libraries and Institutions must print a copy of the appropriate Institutional User License (either the single-site or multi-site license agreement depending on your situation) and return the completed form to ASCE by mail:
