Intranet/Internet/Extranet/Web site permission permits you to post the ASCE content to your company's intranet, extranet, or Web site. Online use is a limited use that is essentially equivalent to or substitutes for the print version, and embedded material (or a specific link to it) remains in situ; it does not include use as part of a database or other uses that might conflict with or prejudice the usage of the material by ASCE.
This permission provides you with a license to post a link on your Web site to the ASCE-copyrighted content. Rightslink® manages the process by hosting the electronic copy of the content at Copyright Clearance Center for the duration of time you select, generating a unique URL for you to post on your Web site, automating the renewal of the link, and expiring the link when the license expires. See What is Digital Reprint.
This permission allows a doctoral degree candidate to republish the requested content in his/her doctoral thesis. This permission is free of charge.
