ABSTRACT ONLY:

The $35-million widening and rehabilitation of the 70-year-old Homestead Grays Bridge, near Pittsburgh, required unique design solutions and innovative construction techniques that would enable the contractors to perform the necessary work while maintaining two lanes of vehicle traffic at all times.
