Civil Engineering presents two possible solutions to the crisis in developing nations that revolves around high levels of arsenic in drinking water, which can potentially cause cancer, skin lesions, hypertensive and cardiovascular diseases, reproductive disorders, and premature death. Both option are easily constructed of local materials and easily maintained by residents.
