Subsidence beneath a transformer at an important Canadian electric power-generating facility required a delicate and precise grouting solution. This successful grouting program, which was conducted within a tight deadline and under several logistical constraints, relied on thorough planning, precision settlement monitoring, accurate control of grout injection, and effective coordination and cooperation among the contractor, consultant, and owners.
