ASCE Examination Copy Policy

ASCE is pleased to provide examination copies for professors who wish to consider a title for course use.  Books being considered for course adoption must be ordered using the Textbook Examination Copy Order Form.  All fields are mandatory. Fax the completed form to 1-703-295-6278, or mail to: ASCE, Book Orders, P.O. Box 79404, Baltimore, MD 21279-0404.

Only books intended as course textbooks may be purchased at the special $10.00 examination copy price (includes shipping and handling). Other titles for personal use will be charged the list price.  The examination price is limited to the purchase of no more than two books. The $10.00 examination copy price will be refunded to college faculty who adopt the book for their classes.  Please note that pepayment with check or credit card is required.

ASCE Desk Copy Policy

Desk copies will be provided free-of-charge to any instructor who has adopted a text for a course.  Fax requests for desk copies to 1-703-295-6278, or mail to: ASCE, Book Orders, P.O. Box 79404, Baltimore, MD 21279-0404.

Please be prepared to provide:

1. the name and shipping address of the professor(s) teaching the course
2. course name, number, enrollment, semester, and other information
3. the name of your college bookstore or purchasing office (if available)
4. the date of the order (if available)
5. author/title/ISBN of the book you are requesting
