Submission Guidelines
ASCE encourages the submission of scholarly and practice-oriented articles to its journals. Before you submit an article, please review the scope statements for ASCE's journals on the journals home pages, to ensure that you are submitting your work to the journal that is best suited for it. Then, consult our resources for authors, especially the sections about types of journal content and length of journal submissions. Additional information for submitting to this journal appears below.
Technical papers and technical notes
Submit five (5) double-spaced copies of your article, a CD or diskette with the corresponding electronic file, a list of suggested reviewers and a completed Sizing Worksheet to:

Papers under review, accepted for publication, or published elsewhere should not be submitted and will not be considered.
Discussions
Submit a double-spaced copy of your discussion as a PDF file with fonts and special characters fully embedded to: Journal Services.
Suggested Reviewers
All manuscripts should be accompanied by a list of four (4) potential reviewers. Include the complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, and at least five (5) subject headings that identify the expertise of each reviewer. Although the journal is not obligated to use any or all of the suggested reviewers, the editors believe that having authors suggest reviewers will result in an improved peer review process.
